The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was a widely acclaimed series of BBC radio dramatisations of the best of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's tales of Sherlock Holmes. The twelve shows broadcast by the BBC in 1954 were produced by Harry Alan Towers and starred Sir John Gielgud as Sherlock Holmes and Sir Ralph Richardson as Dr. Watson.

The twelve BBC shows are available on CD in three volumes or maybe purchased individually as downloadable mp3 files.
